This was Steves first house, some 48 years ago and latterly our home of 12 years together. We love the views across the whole of Halstead and being so close to town, yet away from the hubbub, we feel like we have our own haven with its charming suntrap secret garden.

History & Background

The house is part of a former 15th century hall house, which was later split in the mid/late-17th century Tudor times to create three cottages, albeit this property occupies around half of the original building with elevated views across the roof tops, Halstead High Street and across to the converted water tower.
