An LPG gas supply serves gas fires within each of the three cottages together with gas central heating and water heating from individual boilers within both the farmhouse and Swallows Rest. The farmhouse also has a gas fired cooker. Central heating and water heating within Brae Fell Cottage and High Pike Cottage is provided by an oil fired boiler located in the utility room of High Pike Cottage.
