Situation - How Caple is a sought after village which lies some five miles north of the market town of Ross-on-Wye and 9 miles south-east of the Cathedral City of Hereford. The M50 motorway is under ten minutes' drive enabling excellent road communications to The Midlands & South-west via the MS and access to A40 (to Wales) via Monmouth.
Description - The Falcon Booster Pumping Station has direct access from the B4224 and has a roadside frontage of approximately 77m. The building is approximately 1 lm back from the road and the total site area is about a third of an acre ofland adjoining a small incised stream, and lies east of the local road, B4224.
There are a number of pine and fir trees, a sycamore tree across the frontage used to provide a visual buffer in front of the building and mixed coppice along the banks of the stream. The majority of the land is on the northside of the land and to the south is an existing three phase electricity transformer which appears to be connected to the National electricity network. The Pumping Station was formerly owned by Welsh Water and was sold to the existing owners in 2007 when Welsh Water stopped pumping water using that facility. The pumping station itself is enclosed within a chain link fence with concrete boundary posts and two strands of wire keeping the building secure and the internal width of the compound is 33m between the two chain linked fences with the single storey building 8.12m from the south boundary and 18.28m to the north boundary.
The entrance gate is about 5m wide with a pair of metal framed gates attached to concrete posts and a reinforced concrete parking area in front of the single storey building with some galvanised steel railings on the east side of the parking area.
The single storey building has a flat concrete roof and stretcher bond brick walls and damp proof course and there is a large sub structure to about 1 .4m which is evident from the stream side elevation where the pumps would be attached to the sub-terrain pipework which would draw water out of the stream. All the pipework is not operational and it would be for the purchaser to remove the pipework from under the building. On the east and west elevations there are window openings with glass blocks to the west elevation, and metal framed windows to the stream side.

A room of approximately 250 sq.ft (22.8 sq.m). The internal height of the building is 2.77m and the door width is 2.03m and a height of 2. lm.
