Tough Mudder Aftermath

Several of Mayfair Office members, Prospect’s finest took on one of the world’s toughest obstacle courses, Tough Mudder, last Sunday 3rd May in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

For those not familiar with Tough Mudder, it is a 10-12 mile course with up to 25 obstacles along the way, including rings of fire, plunging into ice cold water, crawling through teargas and even live wires hanging down over a mud pit!

Prospect tackled Tough Mudder to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support who helped one of their colleagues through ‘one of the toughest years’ of his life as his father was diagnosed with terminal bone marrow cancer. Prospect are very proud to have raised over £2000 for Macmillan through their Tough Mudder challenge and would like to thank everyone who has donated. You can still donate here or by texting PTMC90 £5 to 70070.

Mark, one of Prospect's directors, took part despite having suffered a torn hamstring last month and said ‘with a positive, can do attitude, I decided to try and compete with the team; so with a bruised rib, dodgy leg and unexpected hills of the Chilterns in Henley, I managed to complete this challenge. I feel very proud to be a part of this and help raise over £2000.’

Matteo, Prospect's Reading Lettings Assistant Manager, also ran and said ‘Personally for me it was the hardest, most challenging physical thing I've ever done. The achievement I felt crossing the finish line was incredible. The team-work motivation from others really pushed me. Even though I couldn’t walk the next day it was worth it! Great charity to do it for and a huge thank you to everyone who donated to help us exceed for £2000 target.’

Once again Prospect would like to thank all those who have donated and for the words of support and encouragement from all of their wonderful clients and colleagues!
