NEW APPOINTMENT TO THE NEWTON FERRERS OFFICE

Marchand Petit are delighted to announce the appointment of Roger Punch FRICS, who joins our well established and highly regarded Newton Ferrers team of Claire Northmore and Julie Leach.

An enthusiast of the residential property market, with particular knowledge of the western portion of the South Hams, and a Yealmpton resident, Roger is one of the West Country’s most well known and experienced estate agents. A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and their South West residential property spokesman for many years, he is a respected market commentator in press, TV and radio. He brings over forty years’ experience across a broad spectrum of property disciplines to the firm, having been at senior levels in two major regional practices, and founder of his own prestigious Plymouth based practice Punch & Roche.

Following his new appointment to the company, Roger comments: “Joining Marchand Petit Estate Agents and being able to focus on my home patch is quite a treat! The Westernmost area of the South Hams has so much to offer. For those who need access to Plymouth, for their occupation or for its facilities, it is the best place to be.  Access to the A38 is easy, Derriford Hospital is within easy reach, and the marine facilities of the Yealm estuary, Queen Anne's Battery, Sutton Harbour and Mount Batten are nearby.”

“Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo offer excellent village amenities and many outstanding properties. Yealmpton, where I have lived for over 30 years, is the most comprehensively equipped village within Plymouth's commuting range and is perfect for families. The Wembury peninsula is often ‘off the radar’ but it is untouched by tourism and offers outstanding scenery and a beautiful coastline.”

Managing Director Peter Gardner commented: "In these interesting times, we are delighted to welcome Roger Punch, who with his in-depth and expert professional knowledge coupled with a common sense approach to selling houses, will greatly strengthen our team.”

In his spare time Roger is a founder member of Saltram Rotary Club, and in this respect is chairman of the organising committee of the Plymouth Santa Fun Run. He is also a keen and lifelong sporting cyclist and member of the Yealm Rouleurs, and is a steward of Yealmpton Community Methodist Church. Most of all he is a family man with three grown up children and two small grandsons.

To contact Roger please call 01752 873311 or email roger.punch@marchandpetit.co.uk or call in to the Newton Ferrers office.
