LOCAL ESTATE AGENTS COME UP WITH INNOVATIVE WAY TO SUPPORT ST LUKE’S HOSPICE

Plymouth Estate Agents and Mayfair Office members, Lang & Co, has come up with an innovative way to support local charity, St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth.

Lang & Co Sales & Lettings Estate Agency based in Mutley and Plymstock have agreed for the next 12 months to place the St Luke’s logo on every ‘for sale board’ in the city along with a donation for every sale on new instructions from 1st December 2013.

Lang & Co Director, Marc Rees said: “As an organisation we have always been keen supporters of St Luke’s Hospice. We were the founding sponsor of the Tour de Moor when it launched a few years ago. We wanted to continue our support together with coming up with something totally different and unique that would not only be a great fundraiser but also get the St Luke’s name brand out into the community 24/7. Our new remodelled for sale boards and donation seemed to tick all the boxes. The end of life care St Luke’s provide to our local community is truly amazing and the hospice has a special place in the hearts of my colleagues and myself. It’s a pleasure to support the charity”.

St Luke’s Marketing and Communications Manager, Robert Maltby said: “We are always looking for new ways to fundraise and this concept from Lang & Co is a fantastic idea. Not only will the donation from every sale help towards the £4.5million we need to raise every year, it will also put the St Luke’s logo out into the local community to create even more awareness of our charity. We are always keen to promote the amazing work of our Community Team consisting of specialist nurses, social workers and occupational therapists who provide end of life care for patients at home and our logo on the for sale boards just reinforces how St Luke’s Hospice is at the heart of the local community”.
