Find out some of the best features of a new home

Mayfair Office members Mishon Mackay in Brighton study what buyers of New Homes really want to find:

Find out some of the best features of a new home.

When you buy a new home, you expect to get the latest products included, using the most up-to-date design and technology, that you wouldn’t necessarily get in an older residential property. And the properties available with our New Homes team are no different when it comes to innovation. Julie Frith, New Homes Director at Mishon Mackay, shares some of her favourites:

Vizion, Withdean Road, Brighton

Vizion, two ultra-contemporary houses in Brighton, have the latest in kitchen design. Julie said: “The attention to detail in the kitchen is second to none. The kitchen units have been designed to give the illusion of being part of the internal architecture. It has the latest Quooker hot and cold water tap and a space-saving downdraft extractor.” And it doesn’t stop there – the bathrooms feature all the latest designs in sanitaryware from renowned supplier, Villeroy and Boch.

One Nizells Avenue, Hove

Developers are also considering buyers in mind by using easy maintenance composite decking, rather than high maintenance wood products that’s been used up until recently. Julie said: “It’s important for a lot of home owners to have a manageable, low maintenance garden or outdoor space, so this composite decking makes a real difference to many buyers.” In the penthouse at One Nizells Avenue, premium materials and designer finishes are used throughout. The kitchen, by Design Space London, features the latest top of the range Miele appliances, including a steam oven for quick and healthy cooking. It’s a perfect setting for entertaining guests.

Smock Mill Place, Falmer Road, Rottingdean

Another fantastic must-have item is an electric car charging point for those buyers who already have, or are looking to buy, electric cars. Smock Mill Place is one of the first developments in the immediate area we work in that features this. There are just nine luxury four bedroom homes here, built using traditional materials. Julie said: “There’s a great combination of old and new here.”

If you’re interested in any of the developments listed, or the technology used, call the New Homes team on 01273 829300 or email newhomes@mishonmackay.com for more information
