Leicestershire
Sandwiched between the M1 to the west and the A1 to the east is Leicestershire, famous for its hunting country. The county is roughly divided east to west by the Soar Valley, and to the north east lie the fertile grasslands of the Vale of Belvoir.
Swathes of the county are still held by great estates but there is much to interest the buyer. Leicestershire has delightful market towns including Melton Mowbray, Market Harborough, Ashby de la Zouch, Lutterworth and Uppingham. These are well served with transport links.
