Herefordshire
Herefordshire, for many, is still a largely undiscovered county. Historically the lack of industry means Herefordshire has few large towns. But there are many delightful villages amidst a glorious landscape of woodland, orchard and steeply undulating farmland.
Transport from London has never been rapid from Herefordshire, for many this adds to its attraction and helps to keep prices in check. Hereford has many fine town houses, but for those heading for the countryside the Wye and Golden valleys are very popular.
