Berkshire
Berkshire is a county of two halves. To the east are Royal Windsor, Ascot, Wentworth,
Sunningdale and the wealthy high tech M4 corridor. Here is a wooded landscape with
superb golf courses and peerless education including Eton College.
To the west is untouched downland, much of it still owned by large estates. Buyers
are attracted to Newbury and Hungerford, and favoured villages include Aldermaston,
Yattendon, Eastbury, East Garston, Kintbury and Upper Lambourn.
